Greg Rushton: Color Against the Winter

rushton1

I remain on a search for color, even muted color, against the white of winter and these beautiful works by Vancouver Island photographer Greg Rushton do the trick.  (Above: Dusk on the Englishman River.)

Yes, yes, the colors are absolutely yummy! The colors in the first shot you’ve featured are very tasty, indeed.

That green is exquisite – even the more so because it’s natural, albeit with the photographer’s eye and hand at play.

Yes, I’m also starved for colour. Thanks!

Yes, kind of white and grey across my world right now. Glad you enjoyed.

The first photo really stirs my imagination! I was actually imagining a unicorn on the river bank! It looks like a scene from a fairytale book. I L-O-V-E it! :D

I love that idea. The unicorn. It is kind of a fantastical scene, agree.
