Nick Morris grew up in a small Australian town with lots of beer, muscle cars,  soap opera romances and not much else to do but watch TV.  The art of this former graphic designer, represented by Artêria Gallery in Bromont, Quebec, features evocative, retro-style images that emerge as pop art.  (Above: Royal Champ)

 All of my art is the accumulation of images that have permeated my mind since I was a kid up until now. I see each canvas as a portrayal of what the Buddha referred to as the Monkey mind, the collective junk stored in one’s head, where one thought jumps to another.
