The edgy Hamilton-based Group of 7 Billion just launched a website for its hundreds of collages, done with wry humour in vintage materials in recurring themes that include cats (lots of them), nudes and space images. They’re sometimes Monty Python-esque and always recognizable. This loose collective of friends was formed in in 2009 and is a mainstay of Hamilton’s monthly art crawl.
The Group of 7 Billion represents artists Caitlin Eady, Drew Taylor, Sean Gadoury & Victoria Iles.

Thanks to you all – Usually, I have at least a faint idea of what the reaction will be, but this time, I really didn’t know. My own thinking was I’m also not generally fond of this type of collage but hmm, this is really good and interesting.

Monty Python-esque says it, lol! I don’t usually fancy collages either, as zookyworld said, but these are fun to look at. 🙂

This interesting concept for a collection has caught my eye with the beautiful lady with pearls around her neck and bubbles from her mouth!

Some collages don’t do much for me, but these are very nicely done. I’ll have to check out this group’s website for more collages. Thanks for posting these to introduce us readers!
