Who would have thought the instant noodles we’re all familiar with could turn up as art. This Yokohama museum celebrates the iconic noodle cup in a series of galleries.
The museum is a tribute to Momofuku Ando, who revolutionized eating customs all over the world. Ando, founder of Nissin Food Products, invented the world’s first instant ramen in 1958, and noodles in a cup in 1971.
There are also interactive stations, including one for noodle making, and a stand to create and eat your own cup.
The museum attracts hundreds of thousands a year, a fun way to explore noodles as art.
