Blurring Figurative Lines

These are powerful narrative works from Prince Edward County artist Anthony Buttazzoni, who is currently prepping for an exhibition in Toronto next month. (Above: Summer Nostalgia, 2022)

Buttazzoni says he launches a new series of originals every few months, his latest being portraits headed to Exhibition Place in Toronto for The Artist Project in April. A couple more examples, from his website, below.

Anthony Buttazzoni is a self-taught artist raised in Northern Ontario, now living in Bloomfield in Prince Edward County, Ontario. He works in oil and watercolour paints, charcoal, and ink.
