This mesmerizing work is Seabird Hunters Returning Home to Bragg’s, by the late David L. Blackwood, best known for his colour etchings with aquatint. It’s one of hundreds this accomplished printmaker created to convey the history, legends, and myths of Newfoundland.

FANTASTIC! It’s so cold here in Chicago, Lake Michigan looked like painting today. I just love the white around the boat, I can feel the boat moving. Oh, and that rock!
