It’s the busy Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. and a stressful winter storm weekend for many parts of Canada. So for this week’s Sculpture Saturday, take a deep breath and a soothing walk through one of my favourite sculpture gardens, at Oeno Gallery (here).
The three-acre contemporary sculpture garden holds more than 150 large-scale outdoor sculptures by leading Canadian and international artists, some of them featured on Canadian Art Junkie in the past. Below, Halcyon Gold by Victor Mitik, 24K Gold Painted Stainless Steel, 2025, 87 ร 48 ร 32 in.
โHalcyon is a massive sculpture โฆevoking the serenity and timelessness of the mythic Halcyon days.โ Viktor Mitic.

Above, a 2025 work by Quebec artist Eric Tardif called The Beauty of Change No. 2 – Kaleidoscope.

Oeno is located on the grounds of a winery in Ontario’s lush Prince Edward County, about halfway between Toronto and the province’s eastern border with Quebec. Oenoโs Outdoor Sculpture Exhibitions began in 2011 and now see over 30,000 visitors each season.ย Open daily dawn to dusk, free admission.
