Canadian artist Viktor Mitic is renowned for his post-Pop-inspired paintings, prints, and vibrant abstract sculptures.

These 3-D figures began as digital creations, sculpted out of resin and hand painted. Their form was initially inspired by the towering abstract sculptures Mitic produced from images of paint splashes on his studio floor.(Below, one of his abstract sculptures)

Mitic has been showcased his creations at high profile venues such as the Muramatsu Gallery in Tokyo, The Armory Show in NYC, Art Chicago, and in his hometown of Toronto.

Mitic’s work is held in corporate, private, and public collections including the noteworthy Beaverbrook Art Gallery and the Biggs Museum of American Art.
Originally from Serbia, he obtained his BFA from the University of Toronto in 1995 with art history studies at Sheridan College.
