Cherney says her paintings are “less invested in resemblance than in the quality of connection. . .the pulse of morning, the humming of the trees, natureโ€™s clever flourishing: each captures a kind of inner weather.”

Cherney has a degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University and has been painting and exhibiting professionally for over 10 years. Her work is found in many private and public collections in Canada, the United States and Brazil.
