Created at the former Downsview Airport (YZD) in north Toronto, this interactive sculpture installation transforms the runway into a canvas of painted rivers.

The artist behind the project is Toronto multidisciplinary sculptor and educator John Notten (website here). Inspired by the ancient waterways that once shaped the city, the immersive experience blends history, geography, and art, to encourage people to explore Toronto’s lost rivers in a unique way.
