One of Toronto’s attributes is its endless supply of surprising public art. This one – a glorious suspended stairway – is inside a building at 36 Toronto Street downtown, created by sculptor Joshua Kalfa. It’s easy to revel in his artistry and the amazing construction of the work.

The giant women climbing and the staircase itself (which is suspended in the atrium) are bronze.
