A colorful, abstract textile artwork featuring various shades of blue, yellow, and pink arranged in horizontal bands, resembling a sunset over water.

This mosaic by Montreal artist Laurence Petit is Crรฉpuscule de Janvier (Glass, Ceramic on Wood Panel, 2026, 24 ร— 24 in). It’s part of Oeno Gallery’s summer exhibition (see more here / see detail in video below)

The finely cut glass and ceramic pieces that make up this work are rendered in a fresh, modern palette of blues, yellow, melon, pink and white. The French word crรฉpuscule means twilight or dusk.
