Toronto photographer Todd McLellan’s disassembly work has captured significant attention. His photo art shows the ordered mechanics of dismantled relics: phones, clocks, cameras. He also captures the motion of his work, in this lawnmower, for example, and in video (at the end of the post).
It’s interesting to see his personal artistry applied to a professional project, in this ad for Miller Lite.

wonderfully arranged:)
Yes, exactly. I find that’s what makes it so interesting. Thank you for the comment.
That’s different.
Totally different, but something about it really grabbed me.
Different can be refreshing, inspiring!
Wow, that’s pretty cool. At first I thought “it’s a bunch of parts, who cares?” Then, when I looked at it a second time, I said “Hmmm, it’s a bunch of parts . . . wow.” 🙂
I know exactly what you mean. It’s a very subtle artistry. Thanks for the comment.
It is amazing the range of ideas people come up with and how unique they can be!
So true, and a particular interest of mine – that ability to come up with creative ideas, as in where do they come from?
Now this I really enjoyed, the Millers was outstanding, and the old type writer, Wow.
So happy it reached you! I love it when a follower connects like that to an artist’s work. Thanks for taking the time to say so.
