Montreal-based Walter Scott has been tabbed by the influential BlouinArt Info on a list of emerging Canadians under 30 the art world should watch. That’s partly because of his Wendy comic, and its raging popularity.
Wendy is an ongoing self-published comic book series, the fictional narrative of a young woman living in an urban centre, whose dreams of contemporary art stardom are perpetually derailed by the temptations of punk music, drugs, alcohol, parties, and men. (More at wendycore.tumblr.com)

Walter Scott, 27, graduated with a BFA from Concordia University in 2009. He has exhibited across North America, including the Thunder Bay Art Gallery and the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico
