American photographer Zachary Wasserman captures the feel of Armageddon in these shots. Based in Berkeley, he took them at Burning Man, held annually for a week on Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. The festival forms a temporary city of performers and artists with impromptu installations and music – capped by the burning of a giant effigy.
