Greta Guzek completed a Fine Arts Degree in South Africa where she grew up and then moved to Vancouver, working as a designer and illustrator. Since 1990, she has lived and worked as a painter from her studio on the Sunshine Coast, BC.

  1. Well, Emily Carr inspires from the west, even unseen, not noted. I do see a unique individuality, but I still can’t help thinking about a certain part of west coast art so defined. Guzek’s paintings are wonderful!

  2. This might sound like I don’t think they’re great paintings done with talent, but I don’t mean that in the least: they remind me of the paint-by-numbers kids I used to do as a child. Of course way better in product and method! They are beautiful.
