Shivam Choudhary’s colour-saturated sketches provide a glimpse of his superb storytelling ability as a children’s book illustrator and animator.

“I love creating images that feel lived-in rather than polished, art that carries emotion, atmosphere, and a sense of presence,” the India-based artist says.

Choudhary says his inspiration comes from everyday experiences: “conversations, streets, music, films, old photographs, changing light, and the strange tenderness of being human.”
