Canadian artist Gary Taxali, an internationally known contemporary illustrator, has a UK solo show this month that “slickly reimagines 1930s art and iconography,”  The Outsiders gallery says.  My Feelings Like You showcases Taxali’s  popular approach to modern culture, a style that has placed his works on everything from Canadian coins to exhibitions at the Andy Warhol Museum.

Taxali’s graphic and textured works use oils and a variety of techniques including screenprinting, drawing and inks, often on found media and used surfaces. The London exhibition includes collage on old book covers and paintings.
