These lithe, elegant water figures by Dresden-based sculptor Malgorzata Chodakowska are a cleansing experience, especially in the sad, dark days of this post-Paris world. (Watch the soothing video, below, as well)
The Polish-born artist works primarily in wood and bronze and is well known for the seductive balance of her figures.

Bronze, water and peace…
“Fontaines”
Brilliant. I like the combination of… “materials”. Bronze (i guess) and water.
and the combination of stillness and the movement/flow of water.
Truly nice.

You’re right about the juxtaposition of stillness and moving water, which makes these so appealing (thanks for the re-blog, appreciated)
My pleasure. I felt it was too much beauty to let pass. 🙂
Classically beautiful & absolutely delightful!
They are classic, you’re right.
Those fountains are exceptional and exquisite. Thanks for sharing.
Exceptional, that’s exactly the right word. Glad you enjoyed them.
