A rising star from Winnipeg, Japanese artist Takashi Iwasaki draws, paints and does collage and printmaking. But he is also drawn to the painstaking work of hand embroidery as a way of expanding his visual vocabulary. These meticulous works are embroidery floss on twill or canvas.
