This exhibition in London, Ontario explores how fashion expresses identity, culture, resistance, and creativity.

Museum London says it’s “a vibrant celebration of fashion as storytelling, where every garment, accessory, and stitch hints at who we are. . . . it isnโ€™t just about clothes, itโ€™s about the stories woven into them.”

Featuring community loans, historical garments, and works of contemporary art, it features almost 200 items, from 19th-century pieces to contemporary carnival costumes, worn-in shoes to custom tailoring and evening wear. Alongside these artifacts are powerful works by revered Canadian artists such as the late Greg Curnoe, a London institution, exploring themes of gender, rebellion, and identity through the lens of what we wear.
