Taras Boychuk says he gets his inspiration from the mountains, where he finds subjects for his oil painting in stems of grass, stones, bushes, and tree trunks blasted by mountain storms. (Click images for more information)
Taras Boychuk was born in Ukraine, and moved to Canada in 2004. He began his career in 1982 in architecture at Lviv Polytechnic University in Ukraine. In 1992, he exhibited in Ukrainian Art & Literary Club in New York.

This artist is so powerful; he reminds me of wester Canadian artist Emily Carr and her magnificent pieces on totem poles and trees. Also, a bit of the works program artists during the American depression of the 20’s. Mariannelarsenreninger.com
