
It’s reasonably hard to come up with creative ways to sketch a beach, given that the actual sand-water strip is pretty much the same in all parts of the world. But the surroundings differ so widely that the sketcher’s interpretation makes all the difference. (Hamburg, Germany – Beach bar on the Elbe, above)
